This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Block Drop: Dodge It! (the "Game"), a mobile game published by Heikki Luoma ("we," "us," or "our") for Android devices. By downloading or using the Game, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
Block Drop: Dodge It! does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The Game stores your scores and settings only on your own device. The Game shows advertisements through Google AdMob and collects anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to help us improve the Game. This policy explains what that means.
Your gameplay data — including high scores, selected settings, and unlocked items — is saved locally on your device. We do not collect this data, upload it, or store it on any server we control. If you uninstall the Game or clear its data through your device settings, this information is permanently deleted.
To keep the Game free, we display ads using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. When ads are served, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and processes certain data. According to Google, this includes:
This data is collected and used by Google to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and (where you have consented) show personalized ads. We do not control how Google collects or uses this data. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can also review how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We use Firebase Analytics (also known as Google Analytics for Firebase), a service provided by Google, to understand how the Game is used and to improve it. Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data, including:
This data is anonymous — we cannot identify individual users from it. We do not see names, email addresses, or any personal details. The data is used solely to understand how the Game is played and to improve the experience. We do not sell this data or share it with third parties beyond Google. Firebase Analytics data is handled by Google according to the Google Privacy Policy and the Firebase Privacy Information.
The data described in Sections 3 and 4 is used to:
The first time you open the Game, if you are in a region where consent is required (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland), you will be shown a consent message through Google's User Messaging Platform. There you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising.
You can change your choice at any time within the Game by selecting Settings → More Settings → Privacy Preference.
You can also limit ad personalization on your device:
Opting out does not remove ads; it means the ads you see will no longer be tailored to your interests.
We do not retain any of your data ourselves, because your gameplay data never leaves your device. Any technical or advertising data collected through Google AdMob, and any anonymous usage data collected through Firebase Analytics, are retained by Google according to its own retention policies. Please refer to the Google Privacy Policy for details.
Block Drop: Dodge It! is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us using the details in Section 12 and we will take appropriate steps.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar data protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
Because we do not hold your data on our own servers, you can delete all data we are associated with simply by uninstalling the Game. For data processed by Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics, those rights are handled by Google; please see the Google Privacy Policy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We do not sell your personal information. Block Drop: Dodge It! does not collect personal information beyond the technical advertising and anonymous analytics data described in this policy. If you have questions about your rights under California law, you may contact us using the details in Section 12.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
